Shawn Karimian

Attorney and Founder of Karimian Law Group, Shahin Shawn Karimian was raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended Montclair Preparatory School on an athletic scholarship for soccer. He was also a member of the football and basketball teams. After graduating from El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills, California in 2002, he attended the University of California, Riverside before transferring and graduating from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. Mr. Karimian received Dean’s List honors while also being an active member of the university community.

Mr. Karimian graduated from Whittier Law School in 2010 with a J. D. degree and a certification in Intellectual Property. While in law school, Mr. Karimian was a dedicated student and was instrumental in the creation of a number of organizations such as the Whittier Law Intramural Club, Middle Eastern Law Student Association, and the Criminal Law Society.  In addition to serving on the board of various organizations, Shawn was a  member and officer of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, the Iranian Law Student Association, Entertainment and Sports Law Society, and the Center for Intellectual Property Law.

Mr. Karimian began his legal career practicing criminal defense appellate matters and contract review at Agajanian, McFall, Weiss, Tetreault, & Crist, LLP in 2009.  He added to his legal experience while working with the Kazerouni Law Group, APC, in areas ranging from unfair debt collection cases to personal injury claims.  He has also independently worked with a number of attorneys and businesses in various matters such as contract drafting, review, negotiation, and various corporate business matters.  Since graduating law school, Mr. Karimian has started various companies and businesses performing services ranging from medical collection from insurance companies to client and business management.   Mr. Karimian is also a mediator, having earned a mediation license from Orange County Human Relations in conjunction with the Courts of Orange County.  He is trained in facilitative and evaluative mediation ranging in matters such as property disputes, civil harassment cases, as well as limited and unlimited civil suits.

Mr. Karimian speaks fluent Farsi and is conversational in Spanish, and is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
